Forrest General honors nurses of the year

Forrest General honored its outstanding nurses during National Nurses Week celebrations, including Clinical and Non-Clinical Nurses of the Year and Nurse Leader of the Year.

At a reception held on Friday, for nurses hospital-wide, Clinical Nurse of the Year was awarded to Lance Broome, RN, who works in Surgery.

Darcy Nettles, RN, case management, was honored as the hospital’s Non-Clinical Nurse of the Year.

Gladys Wolff, RN, director of Critical Care and Telemetry, was honored as this year’s Nurse Leader of the Year.

“I am pleased to recognize these three outstanding nurses, as well as all of our nurses, during National Nurses Week,” said Forrest General Chief Nursing Officer, Micah Rehm. “We are thankful for their commitment, dedication, and compassion in caring for our patients. Their hard work propels our organization toward realizing our vision to define the healthcare experience by providing world class care. ”
